The Synergy-One Resource Group is dedicated to fostering confidence and competence in our customers and providing the highest quality products and services.

We care about our clients and work diligently to ensure that we meet and exceed their expectations.

Our founder

Ven Adkins is the founder and principal of Synergy-One Resource Group, a Yellow Springs, Ohio, based business providing computer solutions and services to a wide range of clientele, with emphasis on individuals and small-to-medium sized businesses.

A native of the Miami Valley, Ven worked a few years before beginning his college education, then earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Wright State University, with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science.

Upon graduation from college, Ven worked as a Computer Programmer, where he continued to develop his computer skills. To broaden his knowledge and expertise, Ven made several career moves that included Information Systems Auditing, Computer Education, and Systems Administration and Support.

In 1991, Ven took a one-year sabbatical during which he studied various motivational and self-help modalities. He trained extensively with peak performance consultant, Anthony Robbins. Ven attended numerous Robbins seminars, including a Certification program in Neuro-Associative Conditioning, the study of the systems that describe how the brain and nervous system are conditioned to associate meaning to the events in one's life.

Following his sabbatical, Ven chose the entrepreneurial route and started his own computer consulting business and founded the Synergy-One Resource Group. Since 1992, he has provided a wide range of computer services, including computer consulting, IT and project management, training; tutoring; database and web design, development and programming; and hardware/software sales and support services.

His wide range of computer, auditing and education skills, combined with his training in Neuro-Associative Conditioning, offer a unique blend for providing business and computer solutions. His business motto, "We are dedicated to fostering confidence and competence in our customers and providing the highest quality products and services." says much about Ven's philosophy of educating and empowering his clientele.

Ven's newest offering is Executive Computer Coaching. This service is designed to bring an executive's computer skills to a level of competence that permits effective control and awareness of their organizations computer environment. According to Ven, "Today's executives and business leaders can no longer afford to jokingly say 'I know just enough to be dangerous.' when referring to their computer skills." Executive coaching programs are custom designed to meet each executive's desired level of competence.

Ven takes pride in his interpersonal and analytical skills understanding that technical expertise is only one aspect of a solution. His ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel creates a distinct advantage for his clients.

Ven continues to work on self-improvement and increasing consciousness through seminars and readings of such authors as Anthony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Dee Pak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, and Brugh Joy. Ven and Ellen, his wife of 35 years, live in the small village of Yellow Springs, Ohio, where they enjoy hiking, bicycling, rollerblading, meditating, working in their yard and traveling.

Our Office Staff

Princess Amelia Ginger Muffin Buttercup Olivefoot is the matriarch of our staff and is responsible for overall supervision, watching over all the office goings-on and making sure that she is well rested in the event she is called upon to deal with emergency situations.

Natasha Darling is the most recent addition to our staff. She is responsible for overall file storage, CD-DVD operations and trying to keep current with technology advances. She most recently discovered that if you step on the "Y" key in response to that daunting question "Are you sure you want to delete this file?", it really will delete the file.
